KPIT GNU Tools v10.02 - Released -

* Latest version (v10.02) of free GNUSH, GNUH8, GNUM16CM32C and GNURX toolchains has been released.
* The GNUSH, GNUH8 and GNURX v10.02 ELF toolchains support integration with the KPIT Eclipse. KPIT Eclipse is an Eclipse based Integrated Development Environment(IDE) providing a user interface to KPIT GNUSH, GNUH8 and GNURX ELF toolchains (for Windows and Linux). KPIT Eclipse also provides an user interface to Renesas SHC and RXC toolchains. KPIT Eclipse complements the Renesas HEW IDE and offers users more options for development.

KPIT Eclipse v2.2 - Released -

* Enhanced version (v2.2) of free KPIT Eclipse is released with support for Renesas RXC v1.0.0 toolchain. The IDE also supports Renesas SHC v9.3.0, KPIT GNURX/GNUSH and GNUH8 ELF toolchains integration.
* Users can now create and build projects using Renesas RXC, Renesas SHC, KPIT GNURX toolchains, KPIT GNUSH toolchains and KPIT GNUH8 toolchains all in a single IDE.
* RX and SH hardware debug is now possible using KPIT Eclipse v2.2 on Windows platform. GNUH8 projects created by KPIT Eclipse v2.2 can be easily debugged on the H8 hardware using the HEW IDE.
* Simulator debugging using GDB is supported within KPIT Eclipse IDE for projects created using KPIT GNURX, GNUSH and GNUH8 toolchains.
* Extensive documentation has been provided with the KPIT Eclipse IDE. Users can get detailed information (tooltips) about the toolchain options by hovering over the options categories.

* GNURX v0901-MP1 toolchain is based on
gcc-4.4-20090117 [experimental],
binutils-2.19-20090117 [experimental],
newlib-1.17-20090117 [experimental],
gdb-6.8-20090402 [experimental]
* The GNURX v0901-MP1 toolchain has command line support only. This version of GNURX toolchain installer does not have support for HEW integration.
* This maintenance pack resolves the issue of the compiler not adhering to strict access size requirements required by the peripheral registers causing incorrect data reads and writes.
