* Latest version (v11.03) of free GNURL78 and GNURX toolchains are released.
* The GNURL78 v11.03 ELF toolchain is the first release for Renesas RL78 micro-controllers and provides command-line support only.
* The GNURX v11.03 ELF toolchain provides command-line interface and integration with HEW only.

* The GNURX v11.02 - MAINTENANCE PACK 1 is released
* The GNURX v11.02 ELF (MP1) toolchain supports integration with the KPIT Eclipse.
* This MP1 fixes the following issues:
- The comparison between unsigned short and a constant value generated an internal compiler error for all RX targets with '-O1' optimization option.
- Incorrect 'iodefine.h' header file was included during project generation for the RX62N target in HEW.
- Toolchain upgrade from previous to v11.02 version used to generate the "cannot find -lgcc" error in HEW.

KPIT Eclipse v3.04.01 - Released
* KE v3.04.01 is an update to KPIT Eclipse v3.04.00.003. The ‘Auto update’ feature released with KE v3.00.01 and higher, will prompt the user to update KE with the latest released features automatically. Alternatively, user may select the 'Update Renesas Components' feature available in the 'Help' menu to install this update manually.
* KPIT Eclipse v3.04.01.000 is an update for the following bug fixes:
1. The rx-elf-objcopy utility used to generate wrong output for big endian targets. This issue is fixed in GNURX v11.02 toolchain and KE 3.04.01.
2. Project generation used to terminate due to failure in loading of the "com.kpit.cdt.ui" plug-in.
3. Editor could not be opened as the editor class could not be instantiated.

KPIT GNU Tools v11.02 - Released
* Latest version (v11.02) of free GNUSH, GNUH8 and GNURX toolchains are released.
* The GNUSH, GNUH8 and GNURX v11.02 ELF toolchains support integration with the KPIT Eclipse. KPIT Eclipse is an Eclipse based Integrated Development Environment(IDE) providing a user interface to KPIT GNUSH, GNUH8 and GNURX ELF toolchains (for Windows and Linux). KPIT Eclipse also provides an user interface to Renesas SHC and RXC toolchains. KPIT Eclipse complements the Renesas HEW IDE and offers users more options for development.

KPIT Eclipse V3.00.01.000 - Released
* KPIT Eclipse v3.00.01 , which is based on Eclipse version 3.5.2 [Galileo] and CDT version 6.0.2 (For more information please visit http://www.eclipse.org), is a significant update to KPIT Eclipse(V3.00.00.001)
* The software update feature is now available in KE 3.00.01. Users can download the third-party plugins through the Help->Install New Software menu. KPIT Eclipse provides a new feature “Update Renesas Components” in Help menu. KPIT Eclipse updates can be downloaded using this feature.

KPIT Eclipse v3.04.00 - Released
* KE v3.04.00 is an update to KE v3.03.00. The ‘Auto update’ feature released with KE v3.00.01 and higher, will prompt the user to update KE with the latest released features automatically. * KE v3.04.00 updates the KE IDE with IAR and GHS third party plugins. Users should have their third party toolchains (e.g., IAR, Green Hills toolchains) and IAR workbench installed in order to create the projects using the IAR and GHS toolchains in KE.
